[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility problem: enable security validation

Hi all,

I recently installed the latest MacTeX package and now I'm having a problem
with the Tex Live Utility. Here's what's happening:

When I start the utility, a window appears inviting me to install GnuPG. I
know that this already exists:

% gpg --version

gpg (GnuPG) 2.4.7

libgcrypt 1.11.0-unknown

Copyright (C) 2024 g10 Code GmbH

...

However, in spite of this I went ahead and chose the "Enable" button.

Afterwards, I get an error from the Tex Live Utility, indicating that
"installing gpg appears to have failed."

Upon looking at the log, I don't see anything obviously related to gpg,
although I do see this warning/error:

2026-03-29 02:47:57 +0000 Warning tlu_ipctask[7316]
/Library/TeX/texbin/tlmgr: TLPDB::from_file could not get texlive.tlpdb
from: https://texlive.info/tlgpg//tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb
2026-03-29 02:47:57 +0000 Warning tlu_ipctask[7316] Maybe the repository
setting should be changed.
2026-03-29 02:47:57 +0000 Warning tlu_ipctask[7316] More info:
https://tug.org/texlive/acquire.html

I changed the repository, but this didn't help. Can anyone suggest what I
might be doing wrong?

I could, of course, tell the Tex Live Utility to not ask again, but I would
like to ensure that GnuPG is being used.
