This is probably a terribly naive question, but is there a way to incorporate Latex into email?

<div class="">I have received email from colleagues with tex-generated text in their text, and have noticed</div>
<div class="">several relatively low-level (non-email) contexts where one can insert mathematical text essentially in latex format</div>
<div class="">(Gradescope, Piazza). I use the Mac Mail app for viewing and composing email, and use</div>
<div class="">both the Outlook server (for my university-related email) and gmail (for personal email). </div>
<div class="">I found the Tex on Gmail app for Chrome online, installed it, but see no way to actually use it.</div>
<div class="">If the problem is my Mail app, I <i class="">could </i><span style="font-style: normal;" class="">try to switch to another app, but I am an old enough dog that new tricks, well...</span></div>
