This sometimes happens if `:' gets special treatment, like for instant in French.<br class=""></div></div></blockquote><br class=""></div><div>I have now removed french from the babel optional argument (and any references to changing language to French in the document body), yet still the disappearing cross-reference persists, reliably vanishing on the third latex run.</div><br class=""><div class="">
