Because I have set it to A4 and it works if I do print by any other
means then using Aquamacs. Only with Aquamacs it comes up in A4 again
and again...

What tests do you propose?

What do you mean.
If I grab the Screen using Grab.app, say print, save to PDF, and open
the created PDF in Preview it is A4. If I say print the preselected
papersize is A4 as well...

I simply want to specify that I want Aquamacs to create a PDF with
papersize set to A4...
How exactly is the html converted to PDF? Is this some part of Mac OS
X or of Aquamacs? If the latter, how can I configure it to create PDF
of size A4?

Found 1 keys in domain 'com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs': {
DefaultPaperID = "iso-a4";
}

As I said, it's correct for any other app / way of using Preview or
the Mac OS X printing stuff.
Only Aquamacs does it wrong for me...
