I did it without other reaction, though.

Still I get:

Seems that it doesn't.

Interesting: Now I do not find the Monaco font in the Schriftsammlung.app  
(=Font Book application, I suppose).
Though I have still a Monaco.dfont in the /system/library/fonts. But of  
course only with read & wright right for the system. Therefore perhaps not  
appearing in the Font Book?

When I nevertheless pointing on that file rightclick "open with  
Schriftsammlung"a font looking similar appears in the Font Book, but  
"Andale Mono / regular"

I'm going to bed now. I'll try out more after sleeping.
