[OS X Emacs] Opening files in a tab (not a frame)

Steve,
Toggle the setting of Options-->Show Buffers in New Frames.  Be sure to do
Options-->Save Options to make the new setting stick permanently.

Note that you can always choose "Move tab to new frame" from any tab's
context menu if you'd like the tab turned into an independent frame.
