[OS X Emacs] unicode characters change interline space

hi,

I've just tried emacs 24.1.1 on my newly installed Mountain Lion and
found something strange. Please, look at this:

as you can see, interline spaces look really weird and that happens in
every line which contains non-ascii character.

is it a known bug, or just a feature? :)
