[OS X Emacs] Aquamacs Emacs 3.0preview available - problem with markdown mode

Hi,

when I change a buffer from text mode to markdown mode a string '# ' at the beginning of a line is converted to '. '. Nevertheless the converted string is accepted as header mark.

Any hints?
