[OS X Emacs] Enriched mode - save to RTF?

Dave,

I have been struggling with this for almost 2 (two!) years now... my
response to your question, unfortunately, is NO.

you know, there is a package that you can use and convert a LaTex file to
RTF, but it never worked with my files initially prepared to match the
formatting of a good number of journals. so, i have learned that if you
have your LaTex files compiled as PDFs - talk to the people of the
Editorial Offices - they always get very excited in case you have the
manuscript that looks exactly as it would appear  on their journal webpage;
in most of the cases, even if the instructions tell you you can submit an
RTF file, they don't like it. Elsevier is the best - they are responsive,
friendly, have their own templates and don'e mind if you are creative.

as you can see, my response is far from a "skinny' type of a developer...

(on the dark side - i have some failures with the latest 3x release... i am
sure you can help...:))
