[OS X Emacs] Toolbar problems in Emacs 24.4 and Aquamacs 3.1

I have been made aware of a “hang” problem in Aquamacs 3.1

The issue occurs when clicking toolbar buttons rapidly, or something when just clicking them once.

The problem also happens in Emacs 24.4 (and nobody noticed so far).

It has been reported, and I am actively working on a diagnosis.  You can track this issue here:

For the time being, I would not use the toolbar at all.
