[OS X Emacs] Unresponsive Aquamacs 3.1 - workaround available for testing

Some users have experienced a problem when Aquamacs 3.1 becomes unresponsive after making inputs and clicking (rapidly) on the toolbar.  The problem is specific to installations of Apple’s new OS X 10.10 (“Yosemite”).

The same problem is present in GNU Emacs 24.4.  Its cause may be a bug in the operating system.

A workaround is available for testing now:

Please let me know via e-mail to one of these mailing lists (or aquamacs-bugs at aquamacs.org, if you’re not subscribed to any) whether this fixes the issue for you.
