[OS X Emacs] problem with Mac OS menus

Hi Michiel,
Cc’ing the support mailing list to see if anyone else has such a problem.
I suspect that this has to do with something at the system level, perhaps some sort of extension that you have installed.
I do not reproduce this behavior on a new touchbar-MBP with the latest version of macOS.
Perhaps you can try running a nightly build from the website.
