[OS X Emacs] cannot upgrading packages anymore

Hi Win,

during the last months I was using 
Aquamacs 3.5nightly  GNU Emacs 25.3.50.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin19.6.0, NS appkit-1894.60 Version 10.15.7 (Build 19H2))

After getting the „list-packages“ problem I switched to
Aquamacs 3.5nightly  GNU Emacs 25.3.50.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin20.3.0, NS appkit-2022.30 Version 11.2.3 (Build 20D91))
but the problem remained.

But as you supposed the problem disappeared. But after upgrading my packages I’ve got the following error message:
An error has occurred while loading `~/Library/Preferences/Aquamacs Emacs/Preferences.el (or .elc)':
Symbol's value as variable is void: bibtex-completion-display-formats

I could not figured where the problem comes from.

In the meantime the „list-packages“ problem is back.
