I'm very confused by this URW issue, I thought the Adobe fonts present
in Mac OS X were used.
But yes, the updmap script itself at
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/dvips/config/updmap says:

and its config file at /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg
says:

To get what you want I think you need to "activate":
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/dvips/config/ar-std-adobe-bi.map
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/dvips/config/lw35extra-adobe-bi.map
For Adobe MathPi I think you need:
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/dvips/config/mathpi.map
For Adobe Times SC and OsF I couldn't find anything. Maybe Y&Y could
help, since they sell Unix versions of their fonts they might have some
familiarity with how to configure teTeX.
