[Mac OS X TeX] Off-topic: services menu inactive

services work only for Cocoa applications, not for Carbon.  They will 
not work from the Finder, Internet Explorer, MS Word, Adobe Illustrator, 
BBEdit and the like.  Try them our with TeXShop, Mail, Omniweb, 
TextEdit, etc
