[OS X TeX] problems with i-installer

hi,

yesterday, i checked if any updates were available via i-installer. the app
told me, that there were - for the tex-packages as well as for the
tex-foundation. i hit "update", and all went well until it got to the
"archive"-progressbar.

the progress stopped at 1/4 of its way and just hung there.

after waiting for 2 hours (no kidding) i decided to kill the installer. now,
whenever i try to click on the update-button again, the app just gives me
the spinning rainbow-cursor, and nothing happens.

what to do now?
the update was about 700kb only (if i read the info right).
