[OS X TeX] data exchange: how?

My suggestion would be to set them up with LyX <http://www.lyx.org>

Failing that, as long as there's no math, you could maybe convert your
document to .html, .xml, or some other sort of interchange format which
both Word and TeX grok, but you'll need to set up xmltex or something of
that sort at your end.
