[OS X TeX] tex4ht and natbib and pdf images

You might try working with latex2rtf.  It supports natbib references 
and will convert PDF images to PNG and embed them in the RTF file.  You 
might have to use a LaTeX standard documentclass for the conversion, 
though, rather than a specific thesis format.
