[OS X TeX] Ordinary text within a formula

I am sorry: this was posted "without my knowledge" while I was working  
on the issue and was listing all that I had tried/was trying.
Finally, I got something that worked, though, and so didn't post it. Or  
so I thought.

Here is what worked:
	  
$\denom{One\text{-}Inch\text{-}by\text{-}One\text{-}Inch\text{-}mosaics} 
$
Well, sort of as I don't think the hyphens are quite right.

But since this going to be posted as Open Source, I will leave it to  
whoever.

Again, sorry for jumping the gun.
