Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the Matthew Hill script but 
unfortunately it doesn't work for me (OS X 10.2.8, recent gwtex and 
texshop). The script runner opens and closes but nothing happens (no 
list of possible bibitems etc.). Hm. I will look in the script code 
later on.
