[OS X TeX] Request from newbie

Do you have "Pdftex" or "TeX and Ghostscript" checked in the Typeset 
menu in TeXShop. It sounds like you have EPS graphics, so you either 
need to use "TeX and Ghostscript" or convert the EPS files to PDF and 
then use "Pdftex".
