[OS X TeX] mediaeval default?

I think eco is only for the EC fonts.
There is a package called cmolddig, but I couldn't even get it working, 
although I gave up very quickly...you could try installing that.

(Funny how you ask this question only a few days after I tried it out 
myself!)
