[OS X TeX] downloading the standard fonts

Below is the state of the tex system set up using the "include" option 
before running

updmap --setoption pdftexDownloadBase14 true
updmap --setoption dvipsDownloadBase35 true

Note pdftex does not properly download the standard fonts and the 
"include" option must set the dvipdfmDownloadBase14 true.

updmap is creating new map files using the following configuration:
   prefer outlines: true
   texhash enabled: true
   download standard fonts (dvips): false
   download standard fonts (pdftex): false
   download standard fonts (dvipdfm): true

Here is the state afterwards
