I know of course nothing about any of it but I have what you might call 
an ideological opinion.

Mathematicians like to abbreviate everything but for beginners, this 
adds an extra layer of difficulty. For instance, calling the 
discriminant of a quadratic function ƒ "∆ƒ" rather than "Discƒ" or even 
"Discriminant ƒ" is an expensive economy.

Returning to your question, why not call things by their full name and 
leave it to the user to introduce abbreviations if desired?

For instance, my abbreviation for one of your macros is Tabul. It works 
for me in that I have no doubt as to what it is but it may not work for 
others who have other semi-conscious references.
