[OS X TeX] advi alternatives in OS X

Hi,

Has anyone managed to install advi for OS X?  Do you know of an
alternative that has similar capabilities (ie syncs with whizzytex)?

Or maybe I am trying to do things the "Linux way", but there would be
a more sensible way in OS X: I just want Emacs to quietly recompile my
file every once in a while and display where I am in the previewer.  I
have managed to make TeXniscope do something this, but I have to
recompile and C-c C-j manually.
