The earlier bug report was due to missing ec-*.htf fonts.  The 
new *htf fonts required to refresh the kpathsea databases (I guess
with the texhash command).

 > (/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/fonts/tfm/public/lm/ec-lmr6.tfm)
 > --- warning --- Couldn't find font `ec-lmr6.htf' (char codes: 0--255)

To solve this problem, replace the i-records  <deafult>...</mozhtf> in

   /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/tex4ht/base/tex4ht.env

with the i-records <default>...</unihtf> of

   http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~gurari/TeX4ht/tex4ht-env-unix.txt
