Sorry to contradict you but it is _not_. A complete minimal example 
showing the problem someone is reporting doesn't need anything else to 
be run through LaTeX. Your example is just not complete.

Anyway, i don't see why you aren't following the advice given at

http://www.pstricks.de/pdf/pdfoutput.phtml

and use the ps4pdf package. Herbert Voss should really know what 
solution is the to be considered the "best". Also he provided enough 
examples how good minimal examples should look like and how to track 
outdated styles using '\listfiles'[1] on the pstricks email list where 
you asked the same questions a few days ago IIRC.

Nevertheless, if you could provide your files for download somewhere i 
can have a look too. AFAIK ps2eps was somehow buggy. Maybe it has 
improved, i do not know :-) but i remember that pstopdf from the xpdf 
bundle (available e.g. through darwinports) was considered to do a 
better job.
