[OS X TeX] how to install AASTeX for TeXShop?

It is a class file for LaTeX. The instructions on installing and using 
it are sort of contained in the README file within distribution (they 
are rather generic). I downloaded:

aastex52_large.tar.gz

and the aasguide.tex typeset without trouble for me (I just opened it 
in TeXShop and hit typeset -- it found the aastex.cls file since it was 
in the same directory as aasguide.tex). For general use, just put the 
file aastex.cls in:

~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/misc/

If those directories don't exist, you will need to create them.
