[OS X TeX] Tiger Preview.app and presentations

I am missing the simple full screen mode of Preview 2 in Tiger's  
Preview 3. I used to use it for all my LaTex PDF presentations. Now  
the only thing I can find is a Slideshow feature, that automatically  
advances the pages and has an ugly controls panel at the bottom. Is  
the old mode no longer available or is there an option that I have  
not yet found?!
