Is it possible to change UTI in time? Say start with  
"provisional.macosx.text.tex" and then change UTI when its name has  
stabilized?
org.tug.tex sounds nice and would be rather universal (if not just  
Unique ;-)). One could also imagine org.tug.mf etc.
