[OS X TeX] Including jpg w/ graphicx

You must add braces around the name but the real problem is the use of ~  
because it's usually active. Try this instead:
	\graphicspath{{\string~/Pictures/}}

> \begin{document}
> \includegraphics*[bb=0 0 67 75]{face1.jpg}
> \end{document}

And then I'm sure you get another warning saying that you should use  
viewport.
