Howdy,

I've been wondering why the default (i.e., the OLD names) weren't for  
texmf.local so we wouldn't have to re-learn all of this (not that  
we're not up to the task) and new names for the new ability to do  
everything in ~/Library/texmf thus making our home directory another  
1GB larger. Oh well...
