[OS X TeX] Powerdot

The install instructions for powerdot are somewhat, well, implicit.   
This worked for me: copy the .sty and .cls files to the directory
   /path/to/your/tex/installation/share/texmf.local/tex/latex/powerdot/
(which you may have to create).  An alternative is to create the  
directory in your local tree (~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/powerdot).

If you use a different TeX installation, the directory structure may  
differ somewhat.

Then run 'texhash' (as root, if you put the files in the system-wide  
directory).
