This is probably meant to happen in a bin directory in your search  
path where you before installed the script. getnonfreefonts-sys is  
probably meant to be invoked with sudo -H to install the fonts in the  
system's local tree. The name's 'extension' -sys will probably just  
switch the script's behaviour/installation place (+ texhash).
