I agree that Illustrator is invaluable, but having been a beta tester  
for AI, I can tell you that it has a fair number of annoying bugs  
that Adobe doesn't seem to  deem important enough to fix.

As for Acrobat Pro, the interface is horrible and when I need to do  
something with it, it either takes me forever to figure out or I  
never do figure it out. In addition, the creation of forms is a  
nightmare even on the best days. :-)
