[OS X TeX] can't write on log file error

I can't see what might be wrong. Maybe the commands might show  
something:

	ls -ld /Users/2010
	ls -ld /Users/2010/Desktop
	ls -ld /Users/2010/Desktop/2010\ SS\ 2006
	ls -l  /Users/2010/Desktop/2010\ SS\ 2006/PrelimSS06.*


BTW, with Mail you can click on an address and choose "New Mail."  
This will help to create a new thread.
