[OS X TeX] Multipage enumerate within a longpage

Anyone know how to make an enumerate environment inside a multicolumn 
break over onto a new page in a longtable? At the moment my enumerate 
(which is too long to fit on a single page) disappears off the bottom of 
the page it's on.

Essentially, I have a 3-col long table and I have the enumerate 
environment sitting in a two-col multicolumn inside the longtable.
