[OS X TeX] List items wrapped around figures?

The packages picinpar and picins (among others) allow you to wrap
paragraphs around figures. Most, however, can't be used within list
environments. Those that can, seem to have terrible problems e.g.
trashing the margins and/or alignment of the remainder of the list.
I've futzed and fiddled and read the new LaTeX Companion and poked
around CTAN and got nuthin to show for it. (But a serious TeX hacker I
am -- obviously -- not.)

What I want is to place figures (preferably with \includegraphics),
usually on the right, top aligned with the first line of the list item,
with the list item text wrapped around it. It has to play nice with
what follows -- I often have another list within the list item, for
example. (The kind of situation I usually need this in are exams, lab
writeups, that sort of thing.)

Any suggestions? Help!

David Craig
