The current TL (today) repository has 3.141592-1.30.4-2.2 and not
3.141592-1.30.6-2.2 so it seems the pdfTeX authors have not yet
uploaded their new versions to TL.
I follow TL and as far as I know, the authors of pdfTeX, XeTeX, etc.,
keep TL reasonably up-to-date.
It would be nice if TL was *the* repository for everybody, but some
development seems to proceed without TL being updated.
