[OS X TeX] files in ~/Library/texmf

Hi Alan,

Which is it that can't find your local files? TeXShop or pdflatex on  
the command line?

If it's TeXShop, did it crash recently?  I've had what happened to  
you happen to me in that situation, and the problem went away when I  
quit TexShop and relaunched it.  A little lame, but it worked.

Stab in the dark, but I hope it helps.
