Well, i work ( i think but it's not sure...) with gwtex dist. based
on texlive 2006 (Thanks Gerben for all your work!)

perhaps with the begenning of a file log ...

This is pdfTeXk, Version 3.141592-1.40.1 (Web2C 7.5.6)
(format=pdflatex 2007.1.12) 4 FEB 2007 13:48

With TextMate no problem, i work with "pdflatex" and gnuplot without
problem !

This morning, i want to test my last product : "a math package" with
latex and i make a try with texshop.

Problem 1) no shell escape but solved : google : simpdftex "--shell-
escape" only two pages and the last articl give the solution :
simpdftex latex --maxpfb --extratexopts "--shell-escape" not very
simple for a "non english "

Problem 2) gnuplot: command not found ### FAILED to generate grrr.....

i look to the profile in /etc

I don't understand why now we need texbin but...ok

In texshop pdetex dvips : /usr/texbin
distiller: /usr/texbin (but défaut is /usr/local/
bin ??)

I make a try with pdflatex : same problem so i make this change :

path for the distiller /usr/local/bin

good gnuplot is found (/usr/local/bin/gnuplot) and the result is good

but now return to latex ( tex and dvips)

the PDF is good but the texshop console gives me :

### /usr/texbin/dvips -R -Poutline -o /tmp/altpdflatex.
19028-1170604250/example-fct1.ps example-fct1.dvi
This is dvips(k) 5.96 Copyright 2005 Radical Eye Software
/usr/texbin/dvips: ! DVI file can't be opened.
### FAILED to generate /tmp/altpdflatex.19028-1170604250/example-
fct1.ps ()

I would like to understand why a pdf is create. no dvi no ps

What is the good way to work with texshop, gnuplot and dvi+ps ?
