Howdy,

Because of the state of flux at this time the <http://www.tug.org/
mactex/> site is still pointing toward the release of last year's
(well the late 2005) MacTeX release that was updated as Gerben
updated the i-installer version. Some time, hopefully shortly, after
the final MacTeX 2007 is released these pages will be revised.

If you want the ``experimental'' (this is awfully close to the final
release so experimental makes its sound unstable and it's very
stable) version of MacTeX 2007 go to <http://www.tug.org/~koch/
NewPackages.html>. You can get the complete version (full TeX Live
2007 [just barely pre-release] with the GUI apps at the bottom of
that page (as mactex.tar.gz) or choose the MacTeX_Additions.dmg for
the GUI apps and either gwTeX.dmg for Gerben's release based on TeX
Live 2007 [just barely pre-release] or the full TeXLive-2007.dmg
[ditto]. My advice is to NOT take the teTeX based version since that
will not be maintained and I'm not sure about the TeXLiveMTS-2007.dmg
version.

There is some information near the bottom of of that page that may
explain things better and more fully.

Good Luck,
