[OS X TeX] Running MakeIndex

Well, Rosetta would get you from PPC to Intel; but not from Classic  
to OS X on Intel, I don't think.

What install of LaTeX do you have? TeX Live or gwTeX, using i- 
installer? Both of these include Makeindex, I believe, and you can  
run them via TeXShop, if you've installed everything right.
