You changed the fontsize after komascript calculated the page
dimensions. You could:
a) put the option into the optional argument of documentclass:
\documentclass[fontsize=12pt]{scrartcl}
or b) recalculate the page after the KOMAoptions command by calling
\typearea[current]{current}
BTW you should use the latter also after any change many to the
bodytype, such as \usepackage{mathpazo}.
