In this case, it looks as though the archive for vntex-nonfree got
corrupted during the download. I checked the original archive and
unzipped it by hand and the original seems to be OK. Just one of those
things, maybe?

This follows on from the earlier issue. This map file is part of the
corrupt archive. But the script obviously isn't smart enough not to try
enabling maps for things it failed to completely install so it tells
updmap to enable it anyway and updmap complains.

Rerunning the script to install vntex-nonfree or specifying it as the
target is one option. Unless you want those fonts, though, updmap
--syncwithtrees is likely easier.

Note that getnonfreefonts is not MacTeX-friendly. It is running texhash
on a user texmf directory which isn't necessary. Shouldn't hurt
anything, though.

You may find, though, that you have *part* of vntex-nonfree installed.
If so and you do want it, you may have to force g getnonfreefonts to
install it if it thinks it is already installed.
getnonfreefonts -l
will show this (without making any changes - it just lists available
fonts and whether they are installed in the target TeX tree).
