Not that I can see, provided, of course, that you have all the fonts  
in those directories. For example, in ~/Library/texmf/fonts/type1/bh/ 
lucida/ I have 83 font files; do you?

I ran the example you sent in your first message, and everything was OK.

If you want more data about the number of files in each directory,  
please feel free...
