[OS X TeX] No output with LaTeXit and Mac Tex 2008?

Runs OK for me, essentially the same log file. In addition to the  
other suggestions submitted:

1. Save the source displayed above as a .tex file and, from the  
Terminal window, run pdflatex on it to check that it isn't a problem  
external to Latextit.

2. Make sure the changes you thought you had made to the Latexit  
preferences were saved. I think there is a small bug there which  
prevents a change to a Composition choice from being saved until you  
click on a different item in the window.
