Howdy,

Try

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{calligra}

and then \textcalligra{Some Calligraphic Text} for short batches of calligraphic text and the command \calligra changes over to the calligraphic font (pace it inside a group to limit the effect).
