[OS X TeX] Parts of equations dragged from TeXShop

Nothing fancier than computer modern.

There are no tools for diagnosing pdfs corrupted by pdftex, if that's 
what's going on?

At least in that case I could run it my KeyNote presentation packages 
and pick out the problem equations, rather than having to rebuild them 
all from scratch.   (What a nightmare scenario!)
