You're not using Courier in your example. The URL will be printed in  
Computer Modern. (With a more up-to-date fontspec version it would be  
Latin Modern.) In a more up-to-date version of fontspec you can  
define the monospaced font with \setmonofont (I don't know which  
capabilities your ancient fontspec has, 'texdoc fontspec' can show  
them to you).

What is the euler package good for?

The hyperref package offers a better URL support:

	\href{http://www.summacultura.de}{Summa Cultura}

You can even set colour...
